Happy Thanksgiving everyone,

I'm not one for politics, but it seems we're coming to a pivotal time in history and I can't help but pay close attention. Both the Canadian & American federal elections are about to go down & it's mui mui importante that we all VOTE! If you're a proud Canadian like I am, please do take the time to go out & vote this coming TUESDAY OCTOBER 14, 2008. If you're not yet registered, here's the official web link to get it done. Although our election is always important, I feel like the upcoming US federal election is probably their most important election EVER! If BARACK OBAMA is elected, and it seems like a VERY strong possibility, it will be the beginning of a new era in politics. NOT just because he is a Black man, but because he is a man for change. A true man of the people. But YES, it IS also important because he just might be the 1st Black president. It was not that long ago that black people didn't even have the right to vote that country, and now look. It will be interesting to see what happens, and we all know that American federal politics largely affects not only Canadians, but world politics on a whole. They've done an excellent job of making it that way.

So AMERICANS....you go vote too!

Of course, there's a musical tie-in to all this. No I'm not going to post a video of me singing some kind of "Go Vote" song. Here's a mix done by DJ Z-TRIP that is a very interesting listen.
